3 Big Signs it is time to Clean – Your BODY!


Cabin fever got you stirring? Many of us feel a need for a fresh start in spring, and a good deep cleaning of your living environment can be a great way to refresh your surroundings. But what about your body? You can’t trade it in for a new one or leave it behind when you go to work, like we can with our homes! Here are 3 signs you may need to DETOXIFY, or do a little “spring cleaning” in your body:

  1. You don’t feel great. If you are having any mild symptoms like fatigue, irritability, joint pain, brain fog, digestive troubles, hot flashes, allergic reactions, sneezing, coughing or even skin troubles, it could be due to a toxic burden that has built up over time. Yes, it is great to reduce your exposure as much as possible, but there are some toxins we just can’t avoid, and they build up over time. Detoxing can help you feel better, have more energy and think more clearly.
  2. You are struggling to maintain a healthy weight. If you lose weight too rapidly, or without detoxifying, your body will actually respond by adding fat to safely store those toxins you have accumulated throughout the years. An effective detox can help you rid the toxins, reduce your toxic burden and help you lose weight and make it easier to maintain a healthy weight, rather than “rebound” from a weight loss.
  3. You aren’t performing your best. Are you feeling sluggish, tired, achy or run down? It may be time to “clean your filter”! Just as we do with our vehicles to maintain their performance, our bodies benefit from the same type of care. Detoxification is not a “one-time” event; it should be done regularly to prevent toxin build up. Whether you want to get back in the game or just keep up with the kids, a detox program may be the key for you!
